Tax Associate
Location: Barbados
Grant Thornton East Caribbean is seeking to recruit a Tax Associate for our Tax Services practice. The position will be based in our Barbados office and will work on tax compliance, tax consulting, and tax advisory engagements primarily in Barbados and across the East Caribbean.
Tax Associate key responsibilities and requirements include:
- Assisting with the preparation and filing of clients’ corporate tax returns.
- Calculating and reviewing tax-related disclosures included in financial statements.
- Assisting with researching and analyzing tax implications in advising clients.
- Liaising with the tax authorities on tax matters.
- Possess a bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or a related field.
- Proactive and self-confident with strong communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
